Grand Theft Auto 2, or GTA2, is the second major instalment in the Grand Theft Auto series. It was released worldwide on 22 October 1999, by developers Rockstar North, for the PC and PlayStation. Subsequently a version was available for the Dreamcast console, and a toned-down version for Game Boy Color.
