Raymond Boccino is a thirty-two year old capo of the Pegorino Family. Boccino was born in Westdyke, Alderney. Boccino is often seen at Drusilla's, a restaurant in Algonquin, where he attempts to expand into. He helps Pegorino Family Don James Pegorino with the families relations with smaller gangs, such as the Mob. Boccino is involved in activities outside the Pegorino Family, leading to James Pegorino distrusting him. Boccino also has an uneasy relationship with Pegorino Family associate Phil Bell.

Ray Boccino is introduced to Niko Bellic by Patrick McReary, who employs Niko to kill former friend Teddy Benavidez. He later has Niko collect diamonds, alongside Pegorino Family associates Joseph DiLeo, Johnny Barbosa and Luca Silvestri. The collection was ambushed, although all four survived, with DiLeo, Barbosa and Silvestri taking the diamonds for themselves. Boccino hires Niko to retrieve the diamonds, although he doesn't ask Niko to kill Luca and his friends (which he does to retrieve the diamonds).

Boccino then has Niko and the acting leader of The Lost Brotherhood, Johnny Klebitz, attempt to sell the diamonds to Isaac Roth and Mori Green of the Jewish Mob for several million dollars. The deal, however, is ambushed by the Ancelotti Family and Klebitz steals the money for the Lost. Boccino, in retaliation, kidnaps Lost member Jim Fitzgerald and has him tortured, luring Johnny to Drusilla's, where he holds him at gunpoint and demands the return of his money. Fitzgerald breaks free with a hidden box cutter and, with the help of Johnny, gets Boccino's gun. The two escape by slitting the throat of Boccino's goon, leading to him sending Niko to kill some members of The Lost Brotherhood, including Fitzgerald, and sending several squads of hitmen after Johnny. Johnny survives, however, and considers attacking Boccino with everything he had left, but is told to back down by Thomas Stubbs III, who states that Boccino and the Pegorinos were being watched, and all would be either arrested or killed within a month.
Biography
Pre-2008
Ray Boccino was born to an Italian-American family in Westdyke, Alderney in 1976. Not much is known about Ray's life prior to 2008 except that he was involved in a lot of small-time crimes in the 90s and joined the Pegorino Family, developing an intense rivalry with Phil Bell. Boccino eventually rose in the ranks in the Pegorino organization, become a Caporegime. Despite his status, Don James Pegorino held a negative view of Ray due to his inability to complete his operations.

Boccino also helps Niko find Florian Cravic, after putting Niko in touch with Talbot Daniels. Isaac Roth, blaming the failed diamond deal on Boccino, threatens to kill him, so Boccino sends Niko to kill Roth at the Majestic Hotel. Afterwards, Boccino sets up an apartment for Niko in Alderney City, wanting to keep Niko close by. As the Pegorino family's state continues further into turmoil and the police draw closer, Pegorino feels it necessary to send a message to any possible rats in his organization, and has Niko kill Boccino. Ray and his bodyguards are in a two car convoy to a chop shop in BOABO when Niko ambushes them and wipes them all out in a manner to be chosen by the player.
2008
Boccino is first introduced chronologically while speaking to Billy Grey in the Lost MC Clubhouse after selling the biker gang some weapons, specifically grenade launchers. He is introduced to Johnny Klebitz and then takes off.

Ray Boccino is voiced by Joe Barbara.
Later on, during the Lost MC civil war, Ray meets up with Johnny and Lost members Jim Fitzgerald, Terry Thorpe, and Clay Simons to discuss the situation with them. He explains that the war is bad for his business and that he needs a "steady flow of merchandise". Ray reveals the location of Brian Jeremy and tells them to end the war for good.
