+* September 11, 1955: Tommy Vercetti and Carl Johnson are born.
-The story so far started out in Vice City, 1986, 1 day after the events of GTA: Vice City ended, at 8:00 AM. Tommy Vercetti walks out into his deceased ex-friend Lance Vance's Infernus, and drives off. On a portable TV, a newsanchor advertises The Hyman Condo, owned by Mickey Willows. It is for sale. Tommy drives off and, when he gets there, he buys the place. As Tommy was driving, the story finally branches off, when Mickey Willows, a businessman who had just arrived via plane in Vice City, asked his co-worker, Carl Johnson, to, remotely, via satellite, scan the DNA of all the people with a GPS set to The Hyman Condo. Tommy Vercetti is one, the other is unknown.
+* Carl's father mysteriously disappears the day Carl is born. He is/was a cop, and may have been killed in a gang-related incident.
-Where Carl works is The Hyman Incorporated Commercial Institute, in Staunton Island, Liberty City.
+* Tommy's parents move to San Andreas, in what would eventually be Sweet's house, for Tommy's first birthday.
-Mickey is shocked that Tommy Vercetti got out of prison. Internationally he was known for killing 11 people. Mickey, to be sure, wants Carl to check the prison files. Mickey calls a friend, and co-worker, Jimmy Lincoln. Jimmy, too, is shocked that he's out. Carl confirms this, saying that he left on a plane to Vice City a day after getting out of prison.
+* Tommy and Carl meet eachother at the age of 3.
-When Tommy buys the Condo, he finds an earpiece on the roof. A noise makes him jump as he flies the helicopter, almost crashing. Tommy is told to go to the Hyman Memorial Stadium. When he gets there, Tommy has 10 minutes to get all of the checkpoints.
+* Tommy's mother dies when he is 5, from a drive-by. She was out shopping.
-Carl was going into Portland, when he gets a call from his brother, Sean, A.K.A. Sweet. He's needed in San Andreas, as the Ballas have an advantage with more turf and gang members. One even broke into The Johnson House.

-Sweet tells his family the good news.
+* When he is 13, Tommy and his father move to Liberty City. Carl urges him not to, but Tommy says he will keep in touch.
-Tommy has 30 seconds left and 3 checkpoints left. Tommy gets 2, and tries to get the last one, but can't. Tommy asks for 30 more seconds. He's allowed that, but nothing more. Tommy gets the checkpoint just as the time runs out.

-Carl is, pretty much, already at the airport.
+* At 15, Tommy is, whether he wanted to or not, recruited by the Forelli family, headed by Sonny Forelli.
-Carl calls the Co-CEO at his workplace (Carl is the CEO himself), and says he'll need to take over his position.
+* Tommy and Sonny's cousin, Giorgio Forelli, who is the same age as Tommy (to the day), begin to argue, and eventually get into a fight in which Tommy suffers minor injuries, whereas Giorgio is smashed across the face with a beer bottle. Shards of glass are permanently stuck on the right side of his face.
-Carl asks Joey Leone to fill in for the Co-CEO, Rick, but he can't, so Rick has to be the CEO and Co-CEO.
+* 1971: Several things happen that will have an effect on the rest of the series:
-Tommy is given another Helicopter and some cake by Mickey and Jimmy. He has two men armed with M-16s and a Pilot. Tommy buys The Skumhole Shack for $1000, then takes off for the Airport (wanting to annihalate all the remaining Forelli members).
+** Tommy gets into an arguement with his father (who's name is Jack, and who has a Tommy Gun for protection, hence the name of his son, as he always thought his son would protect him just the same), who has found out Tommy is working for the Mafia, and doesn't care about making money. He wants Tommy to help him at the Printing Press (now General Autos), as he makes a fair share of money anyway, with a legit job. Tommy refuses. His father goes out for a smoke. Just then, some Sindacco goons gun down his father in a Drive-By, intending to kill Tommy, and then drive off. Tommy comes out, sees his father on the ground, and shoots at the car with a 9MM Pistol. Everyone but the Shooter dies. He escapes, as Tommy runs out of ammo. He checks on his father, who is mortally wounded.
-But on the way, the chopper's ambushed by some Haitians (presumably, and most likely, hired by Giorgio Forelli) on a bridge (the bridge to Leaf Links). One M-16-totting man is killed. The other calls for backup from Fort Baxter, and jumps off, managing to kill some Haitians, but then is killed anyway. A rocket blows up the top half of a Billboard the helicopter was taking cover behind, and so they go to the bottom half.
+Tommy: "I'm here, dad. Stay with me. I NEED HELP! SOMEBODY HELP! I HAVE A MAN WHO HAS BEEN SHOT!"
+Jack: "Maybe... you were right... if you had worked at the Press, it may have been... you... who came out here... and was shot..."
-Tommy is glad when some Hunters blow up the part of the bridge the Haitians were on, killing all of them.
+He coughs up blood.
-But then he motices the Helicopter was on the roof for a while. The pilot has been killed. Tommy was hit, and a soldier takes him into a Hunter, flying off.
+Tommy holds him closer and embraces him. His father returns the hug, as tears start forming in Tommy's eyes.

+Tommy: "Dad... st... stay... stay with me, OK?"
+His father then goes limp.
+** The Johnson brothers (Sean, Carl, and Brian, Kendl has also been born, but is nowhere to be seen) smoke pot in Sean's Room. Kendl smells it, and this causes the infamous conversation heard in San Andreas, in the beginning of the game:
+Kendl: "Carl, Brian, stop it! Brian, stop it!"
+Sean: "Quit it! Moms will hear!"
+Kendl: "Mom, they're up to something!"
+So they leave the house. They go see Lance Wilson at his house. Melvin Harris is also there, playing Blackjack with Lance. They've also been smoking pot. They go outside. Sean wants to form a gang, and recruits all of them.
+Sean: "Now now now, uh, we need to make nicknames. I'll start with... Sweet."
+Melvin: "Big Smoke."
+Lance: "Ryder, baby!"
+Brian: "Uhh... CrackHead!"
+Everyone Else: "FUCK NO!"
+Sweet: "YOU STAY WITH BRIAN, MAN!"
+Carl: "THAT IS, IF YOU'RE GONNA THINK UP THAT KINDA SHIT!"
+** Sonny Forelli has tracked Jack's killer. He sends Tommy to kill him, as he has "business... except this time, it's PERSONAL business!" to take care of. Tommy does the job with the 9MM, but 10 other guys shoot at him. He takes cover, and, with his father's Tommy Gun, he takes them all out. 11 men. He leaves, but then the Police are right outside. He drops the gun, and his 9MM, and is arrested without resistance.
+** Carl is watching TV. He looks at the news, and sees live footage of a trial. He sees Tommy Vercetti being tried, and can't believe it. He killed 11 men. Sonny Forelli, thankfully, comes to the stand, slips the Judge $1,000,000,000 (where he got 1 Billion is unknown) in special (and not counterfeit, somehow) $1,000,000 bills. After Sonny says all 11 men (in reality, only the first guy Tommy killed) were responsible for the death of his father. The Judge chooses the penalty on his own, not without controversy, and not without utter awe and shock, as 15 Years Without Parole Or Bail.
