Seems like that is my only option. I tested uploading an image of my own in the Sandbox, and uploading a new version of that image worked perfectly. If I try uploading a new version of one of A-Dust's images (tried it on two now) all that happens is that the original image gets stretched. Would uploading a completely new one and marking the old one for deletion work? --Andreaz1 14:27, 20 July 2011 (BST)

:Uploading a new version of a file DOES work. However, your PC doesn't always re-download the new version of the file (why should it?), so it just stretches it instead. Just hard-refresh the page (Ctrl+F5) or clear your cache, and you will see the changes. Gboyers 15:51, 20 July 2011 (BST)
