:I think there's a big difference between being a good contributor for a couple of weeks, and performing the type of work required for a medal. The UOTM is designed to encourage people to contribute and to be a reward for users who stand out. Medals are my personal awards to those users who have to a lot more than ''anyone'' else over a long period of time to improve this wiki.
