This userpage describes how to perform burnouts in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (PS2 Version).
About this page
This trick is common knowledge for some avid Grand Theft Auto players like me, Sebandreas. I have got no idea if anyone has done this before, but it's still a pretty cool trick.
Steps to do the trick
Before you begin this trick, please note a few things:
- Do not attempt to do this awesome trick near water. If you do, and you fail, you might drive into the water, ruining your car (unless you're like me and use a trainer :) )-
- This works on all editions of San Andreas, i.e. the PC, Xbox, and. PS2 versions.
- This works on all versions of Grand Theft Auto.
Follow the instructions below to do burnouts/donuts:
- Get a vehicle. Any one will do. An Infernus will do, but I have actually burned out and made donuts using a Packer.
- Press the
and
buttons, the up and down arrows, or accelerate and reverse on the Xbox version AT THE SAME TIME. If you do so correctly, the back tire(s) (or front tires if the car is a front-wheel-drive) will start to smoke and make squealing noises, but the vehicle will not move. If the vehicle does move, just try again until you get it.
- If you have successfully followed the above instructions; congratulations, you committed a burnout. Well done! To draw donuts, just turn the analogue stick left or right on the Xbox and PS2 versions (left or right arrow keys on the PC version) and the car will turn around a central pivot point, drawing a 'donut' shaped skid-mark around the car while it does so. After a while, the marks fade, but that's normal.
