It is unknown if the Jose in "Grand Theft Auto", is the same person as the one in "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas". In San Andreas, Jose is seen in the cutscene of the mission, "Cesar Vialpando", where he is guarded by two Varrio Los Azetcas gang members. In "Grand theft Auto: San Andreas: The Introduction", Jose is seen being beat-up by T-Bone Mendez, whom they are confronted by Mike Toreno.
