Ratman is an unproven rat-like creature said to exist in Grand Theft Auto IV. This is a very debated myth since most people cannot find him and many believe he's just another non-existent myth, like Bigfoot. The likely explanation is that he is a homeless person mistaken for a "ratman".
Description
He is said to live underground in the subway, near the abandoned subway station in Chinatown. He apparently runs faster than the NRG 900 and it is said that if you shoot him he will come back and kill you. When you're dead, he supposedly nibbles on your face until you return to the nearest hospital. A bile or fungus-like substance can be found along the floors of the subway and supposedly dead bodies can be found down there from time to time; however players have most likely killed someone down there and then took a photo or started recording, implying the the person was dead before they got there.
Evidence against the existence of "Ratman"
No scripts, model files, or textures exist in the PC version of Grand Theft Auto IV that could create a "Ratman", thus proving it's non-existance in that version of the game.
The substance found on the subway floors is a reference to the video game Condemned: Criminal Origins. A chapter in that game requires the player to follow a liquid trail into the subway almost identical looking to the one found in GTA IV's subways. Thus meaning that the substance is not there because of a "Ratman".
If you go to the house across the street from your house in Bohan, and if you keep going upstairs you will see a blood stain in the shape of a rat head and a glock 17 next to the stain. That same stain is in many other enterable buildings
"Ratman" Explained
There aren't no model/texture of Ratman or some kind creepy like that.
- Sometime in the tunnel, you can see some guy standing down there and do something(i dunno some moves),but if you put out u gun and shoot,the guy in there well get panic and run out of here fast, sometime the ragdoll bug happen make people think a normal guy is ratman,the ped push Niko and Niko can't get up because some kind of stuck bug. that's the reason make people think they have attack by ratman, and yes,the guy is run very fast.
- About ratman, people sometime mistake about the train,and some crazy hobo can find in tunnel going around.
- Some stupid video on Youtube are fake,about the dead body,they just need to shoot a guy in there,and starting to recording a video. If you want to see the bug click here
- About the blood in the tunnel is just the damage pipes which spell some kind of liquid.

- Rat-Man is an Italian comic about an inept superhero of the same name, created by Leo Ortolani in 1989. Although it was initially meant to be a satire of other superheroes, most prominently Batman, it has since evolved into an independent comic sporting a complex, evolving continuity.
- With modding tools it would be very easy for someone to add a "Ratman" to the game if someone so wished, making it simple to falsely create.
