Honduras, officially the Republic of Honduras and formally Spanish Honduras (to differentiate it from British Honduras, now Belize), is a country in Central America, which has borders to El Salvador, Guatemala and Nicaragua. The capital of Honduras is Tegucigalpa and the currency is lempira.
