The Apple Mac, originally known as the Macintosh is a vast line of computers manufactured and retailed by Apple Inc. The initial release of the first Mac was on January 24, 1984, followed by one of its biggest retail competitors, Microsoft Windows in 1985. Macs currently run on their own software, Mac OS. Despite being partly related to the PC family, the Mac has not been such a largely traditional platform for Grand Theft Auto games yet the game play is rather smooth with no significant differences to the PC. As it is the newest platform to serve GTA games, slight alterations were made from the PC port in order to suit the Mac’s key commands and operating system.
