A made man, also known as a wiseguy, made guy, man of honor, or Mafioso (plural: Mafiosi), is someone who has been officially inducted into the Mafia (Cosa Nostra). Throughtout the Grand Theft Auto series many characters are considered made men. Killing a made made is a sin to the mafia organizations, and will result in a full-blown manhunt for the murderer.
To date, only 3 of the GTA III & IV Era protagonists have killed made men:
- Carl Johnson, protagonist of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, killed Marco Forelli for Salvatore Leone.
- Toni Cipriani, protagonist of Liberty City Stories, is known to have killed 2 made men. He first kills an unknown made man for the Leone's, which sends him into hiding for 4 years. When he returns, he kills Vincenzo Cilli, who was made by Salvatore, over a personal grudge.
- Niko Bellic, protagonist of Grand Theft Auto IV, has also killed 2 made men. First, he is asked by Gerald McReary to kill Frankie Garone, he does this in disguise in order to cause trouble for theAlbanians and Ancelotti's. He later kills Ray Boccino, along with his bodyguards, who is belived to be a rat.
