After his release from prison, he sets up a [[The Long Stretch|drug deal]] at a recycling center with [[D]], a Ballas member which Franklin and Lamar [[Chop (mission)|previously attempted to kidnap]]. The deal was intended to be a Ballas ambush to kill both Franklin and Lamar; however, the deal is disrupted by the police. Later, Stretch sets up another drug deal at [[Grove St|Grove Street]]; this time, Franklin and Lamar are accompanied by [[Trevor Philips]]. When Trevor realizes that the brick of cocaine that Lamar was buying was actually drywall, the three are forced to shoot their way out of Grove Street, with Franklin telling Lamar that the deal was an ambush intended to kill them. Some time prior to the [[Union Depository]] [[The Big Score (GTA V)|heist]], Stretch lures Lamar to the sawmill outside of [[Paleto Bay]] into another Ballas ambush; however, Franklin rescues Lamar with the assistance of Trevor and [[Michael De Santa]]. If Franklin kills either Michael or Trevor, Lamar realizes that Stretch had been setting him up to be killed the whole time; however, should Franklin decide to save both Michael and Trevor, Michael kills Stretch at the [[B.J.
