Trevor informs Franklin he knows why he asked to meet and explains his belief that Franklin, having acted as a peacemaker between the two in the past, wanted to end their rivalry following their heist at the Union Depository. Franklin then pulls a gun on Trevor and informs him, while he likes him, he's likely to get Franklin, Michael and himself killed. Trevor protests that he has been straight with Franklin when they've worked together. Franklin responds by saying the truth isn't what he's interested in, at which point Trevor speeds off in his pickup. While leaving the scene he calls Franklin a Judas and states that Franklin is 'just like him' (Michael). | Trevor informs Franklin he knows why he asked to meet and explains his belief that Franklin, having acted as a peacemaker between the two in the past, wanted to end their rivalry following their heist at the Union Depository. Franklin gives chase and the two speed through the freeways of Los Santos and into Blaine County, at one point heading to the oil fields. Franklin then receives a phone call from Michael and explains the situation to him. Michael, who is not far away, tells Franklin to stop Trevor in the oil fields. The two continue to speed through the oil fields until Michael uses his car to ram Trevor's Bodhi into an oil tanker. The tanker begins leaking oil over Trevor's vehicle and the two get out of their vehicles. An enraged Trevor realises that Michael has teamed with Franklin and tells them to take their shot while crawling away from the tanker. Franklin takes his shot, intentionally missing Trevor to hit the oil. The spark causes a fire to start and Trevor is burnt to death. Franklin and Michael watch on until the tanker explodes, finally killing Trevor. | Franklin gives chase and the two speed through the freeways of Los Santos and into Blaine County, at one point heading to the oil fields. Franklin and an emotional Michael begin to walk away with Michael telling Franklin to grow up. Michael then begins to list Trevor's various character flaws, obviously regretting his actions. The two begin to head their separate ways, on good terms, with Franklin telling Michael 'It's certainly been an education!' Michael responds telling him that whatever it takes, survive. The camera then focuses on Franklin walking toward Los Santos as the end credits begin to roll. | Franklin and an emotional Michael begin to walk away with Michael telling Franklin to grow up.
