The Zentorno is based on various [[wp:Lamborghini|Lamborghini]] models. It is mostly based on the [[wp:Lamborghini Sesto Elemento|Lamborghini Sesto Elemento]] and [[wp:Lamborghini Veneno|Veneno]], evidenced by the two red triangles on the hood and the circular engine vents on the rear half of the roof (unlike the real-life Sesto Elemento, which features 10 circular engine vents and is powered by a V10, the Zentorno features 12 circular engine vents, which implies that the car's engine is a V12). Due to the size and placement of the triangles on the hood, the Zentorno's hood also shares similarities with the [[wp:Arrinera Hussarya|Arrinera Hussarya]]. The bumpers and central hood scoops are sourced from the Veneno. The Zentorno's taillights feature a similar shape to those of the [[wp:Lamborghini Huracán|Lamborghini Huracán]] and patterns like those found on some modern Lamborghini vehicles, while the headlights are shaped like those of the [[wp:Acura NSX (2015)|2016 Acura NSX]]. Like with the [[Infernus]], the Zentorno features [[wp:Scissor doors|scissor doors]], the second car in the entire series to do so.

The Zentorno can be propelled to 60 mph (97 km/h) within 2.3 seconds, making it one of the fastest-accelerating cars in the game, second only to the [[Voltic]]. Like with most of its real-life counterparts, the Zentorno is a rear mid-engine, all-wheel-drive supercar, balancing grip between the front and rear wheels. This also makes it unlikely to suffer heavily from front-end collisions compared with front-engined or rear-engined cars like the [[Surano]] and [[Comet]].
