Vortex: Difference between revisions

* According to the game's files, the Vortex is considered an aircraft rather than a boat or a car. Because of this, it may be attacked by heat-seeking missiles fired from NPC-controlled [[Hydra]]s after attaining a [[Wanted Level in GTA III Era#Four stars|4-star wanted level]] [[Wanted Level in GTA III Era#Five stars|or]] [[Wanted Level in GTA III Era#Six stars stars|higher]] when on water, but the [[Surface-to-Air Missile|S.A.M.]] sites in [[Area 69]] and the [[Easter Basin Naval Station]] will not attack the player, as [[Area 69]] does not have a water interface, and the [[Easter Basin Naval Station]] has a disabled defense system. Additionally, regular [[Police Maverick]]s will, however, shoot the player. And as mentioned before, once it takes enough damage it will explode in multiple successions, like an aircraft. Furthermore, if the player does destroy a Vortex by attacking it enough times to cause it to explode, they also receive a [[Wanted Level in GTA III Era#Two stars|2-star wanted level]], like with aircraft.
