Tommy manages to kill the courier and retireves the merchandise but is now wanted by the police. He returns to Cortez's yacht safely.

Tommy goes to the [[Washington Mall]] in [[Washington Beach]]. There the courier is waiting in the second floor. As expected, the deal goes wrong, since the French SWAT followed Tommy here and doesn't want to give up their missile technology. The courier makes a run for it and Tommy chases him. The courier gets onboard a [[PCJ 600]] and attempts to escape, but Tommy chases, catches and kills the courier, then takes the chips. There Tommy gets three wanted stars. He arrives at Cortez's yacht and delivers the chips.

Mall Shootout is a mission in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City given to protagonist Tommy Vercetti by Juan Cortez from his yacht in Ocean Beach, Vice City. It is unlocked by the mission Treacherous Swine.

Mission

Cortez has a valuable merchandise that a courier will be delivering for him. Tommy offers Cortez help to retrieve the merchandise. Colonel Cortez: Tommy! Come, join me. This looks delicious, huh? Tapir snout?

Tommy Vercetti: Uhhh... no, no. No, thanks.

Cortez: Tommy, you are like a pampas breeze that has freed me from the stench of corruption, although, I must appear to mourn his passing and carry on with business as usual.

Tommy: This isn't getting me any closer to my money...

Cortez: Tommy, my friend, you are not in Liberty now. Here we do things differently. I will continue with my enquiries but in the meantime I have a valuable deal to close.

Tommy: A favor for a friend, Cortez?

Cortez: You're a good friend, Tommy. I knew you would not let me down. I need you to meet a courier who has obtained some valuable technology for me...

Courier: You American idiot! They followed you here!

SWAT Commander: Shoot Him!

The reward for completing this mission is $500. The missions Guardian Angels and Waste the Wife are unlocked.
