The Blade is a two-door lowrider available only in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. The car serves as a gang car for the San Fierro Rifa. The Blade is easy to find on any Mexican gang turf, especially that of the Rifa, and can also occasionally be seen driven by non-gang affiliated civilians. One special feature about this car is that the hydraulics upgrade allows the player to use the vehicle in lowrider competitions. As a lowrider, it's exterior and interior can be completely modified at the Loco Low Co. chop shop garage to improve its looks.

A flame-proof Blade can be found during the mission High Stakes, Low Rider.

Design

The Blade resembles a 1965 or 1968 Chevrolet Impala (or both - the back might be a mix of the two; the back also may have a similarity to that of a 1963 Impala, but instead of being concave the area around the lights is convex) and has a headlight design similar to a 1967 Oldsmobile Cutlass (and along with the Sabre, it might be the origin of the name). For some reason it has no side rear-view mirrors.

Performance

Acceleration and speed are quite impressive, the brakes and slick handling serve the vehicle well. The one major drawback, however, is although the cornering is excellent for such a large car, this car suffers from major oversteer, making use of the E-brake around corners absolutely futile, and driving at high speeds a challenge due to the ability to lose control of the vehicle at the slightest disturbance. The Blade is, however, capable of withstanding significant damage due to a strong frame and overall construction. It doesn't withstand against explosions well, however.
