Car Wash
The Car Wash is a feature in GTA IV that lets the player take any passenger car, light truck or SUV to a "car wash" facility to remove the dirt. The charge is $5 (see exception) per vehicle, per wash.

Big Horn Drive, Westdyke, North Alderney
Tinderbox Avenue, Tudor, South Alderney
Hell Gate, Purgatory, Western Algonquin
Tutelo Avenue, Beechwood City, Northern Broker
Saratoga Avenue, Willis, Southern Dukes
Exception
Any Taxi is $3 at all car washes, except the car wash in Tudor, Alderney.
Bug
If you skip the wash sequence cutscene at the start, upon exiting your vehicle's driver and front passenger door will be open.
N/A Vehicles
These following vehicles cannot be washed at any Car Wash:
- Police vehicles (Cruiser, Patriot, Stockade, FIB Buffalo, similar)
- Commercial vans (Speedo, Rumpo, Burrito, Laundromat, similar)
- Box trucks (Boxville, similar)
- Heavy trucks (Packer, similar)
- Public Service Vehicles (Firetruck, Trashmaster, Ambulance, Bus)
- Motorcycles (Sanchez, NRG900, Zombie)
- Boats or aircraft
Convertibles
Convertible vehicles with the top down will be washed by hand.
