Mount Zonah Medical Center

Mount Zonah Medical Center is a hospital in GTA V, located somewhere in Western Los Santos. It is clearly one of the main hospitals in Los Santos, and is implied to have high-quality care. The hospital also prescribes medicinal marijuana, as well. The hospital is clearly based on Cedars-Sinai Medical Center located in the Beverly Hills in Los Angeles. Isiah Friedlander works for the hospital.

Trivia

• "Zonah" in the Hebrew language means "whore" or "bitch", another one of Rockstar's crude jokes.
• In the GTA universe, it appears the United States, or at least the state of San Andreas, has adopted universal health care. Mount Zonah's site states that "thanks to recent legislation, if you receive something as harmless as a scratch or as serious as a bullet wound, any of our state certified medical centers will patch you up and make sure the healthy bill is picked up by taxpayers", which implies the United States has adopted a universal health care system which is funded by tax dollars, which is implemented in some countries. This may be a reference to the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.
