Supply Lines... is an optional storyline mission in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, given to protagonist Carl "CJ" Johnson by electronics expert Zero from his RC shop in the Garcia district of San Fierro, San Andreas.

Mission

Carl enters the shop, looking for Zero, who persistently tries to keep him away. Carl still continues to search for Zero, and after a while, he is found hanging by his underwear in a closet. Zero explains that Berkley humiliated him. Carl suggests that he take revenge, and when Zero tells him he has a prototype of a miniature plane, Carl suggests using it to do Berkley damage.

Zero suggests that they destroy Berkley's fleet of delivery couriers. Carl then immediately controls the plane. He maneuvers it to different parts of San Fierro in order to destroy the delivery system before they make their deliveries. He kills five sets of Berkley's delivery personnel, all while watching the fuel of the plane, and takes the plane back to the roof of the shop.

Script

CJ: (comes looking for Zero in the shop) Hey, Zee, where you at?

Zero: (through a voice) Go away, Carl. I'm very, very, busy back here. Top secret stuff. Not for your eyes. Too sensitive...

CJ: (enters where Zero is apparently hiding) Come on, homie, where are you?

Zero: (through a voice) I said go away, Carl. I don't need any friends today, thank you.

(Carl finds Zero hanging in the closet and laughs.)

CJ: (as he pulls down Zero from the hook) Man, they some pretty strong drawers!

Zero: Yes, my hero. Carl, he came back and humiliated me! I shall probably turn to prostitution now, where I will be found dead, and broken. I am a 28 year old man, whose landlord just helped him down from a hook, from which I had been hanging from my underwear, contemplating my inadequacy, for nearly two hours. Ow! Ooh, my crack...

CJ: Look, you gotta get even, homie. What kind of weapons you got?

Zero: Uhh... I've got a prototype of a miniature plane.

CJ: Well with that plane, we gonna go humiliate Berkley!

Zero: Ok, cool!

CJ: Man, this is ridiculous.

Zero: That went right up my crack...

(The scene cuts to a Rumpo outside the shop.)

Zero: (through a voice) Berkley has his sycophantic lackeys do all his deliveries. Well, we shall hit him where it hurts the most! Bring his mail order model business to its knees!

(The screen now switches to the rooftop of Zero RC.)

Zero: (through a voice) Launch the Red Baron! (when a first courier is destroyed) One down! Four to go. (when a second courier is destroyed) Haha, only three delivery boys left! (when a third courier is destroyed) Only two left now, Carl. Hunt them down! (when a fourth courier is destroyed) Just one more and Berkley's mail order department is finished!

(Carl maneuvers the plane back to the rooftop of Zero's shop after destroying the last delivery.)

Zero: (through a voice) Now get her back in one piece before she runs out of fuel. (when the fuel tank is finished half) Watch your fuel, Carl. Only half a tank left. (as the plane reaches back on the rooftop) Smell it, you know that ozone smell, smells like... victory!

Reward

The reward for this mission is $5,000. The mission New Model Army is unlocked.

PS2 Tips

• Playing this mission after completion of the Pilot School will prove pretty much helpful rather than before completion of the school. This is because it will be easy to maneuver the RC Baron using controls learnt from the Pilot School. Much more so, playing this mission after Breaking the Bank at Caligula's will also help provide a more compassionate background to Zero's story, from which it may be possibly implied that Zero felt humiliated by Berkley due to Carl punching him down earlier, and that Carl realized it was not Zero's fault totally.
• Fuel is dependent on time, not use. Use Full throttle all the time to get around quicker.
• Take out the delivery drivers in the following order:

1. Southwest (closest)
2. South (2nd closest)
3. North (far)
4. Northeast (farthest)
5. Southwest (far)

In this order, the final driver will be close to the home base by the time you get back around to him. The others end up on main streets with more room to line up on them. There is just enough fuel to get all 5 in this order, but if you let one driver run, you've likely lost.

• Don't fire until you are dead on, lined up, and know you can kill. Stop on the ground by them if you want to line up your aim better. The drivers don't react until fired at. Once shots are fired, the drivers will flee, and can be hard to catch (especially the bikes). You don't have enough fuel to be chasing them around, so make your shots count.
• This is a difficult mission, and is going to take a lot of attempts, but it can be done (without cheating) by following the above suggestions.
• Any wanted level earned before starting the mission will not affect the RC Baron's health, since police attention is disabled in practice throughout the mission, though the wanted level will still flash until the end of the mission, after which it will be nullified.

PC Tips

• There is no specific order to targets, but more than enough fuel to spare running around. Furthermore, any wanted level earned before starting the mission will not affect the RC Baron's health, since police attention will be disabled in practice throughout, being fully cleared once the mission is passed.
