In the real New York City, Koreans have territory in a small Koreatown in Midtown, Manhattan and large community in easternside Flushing, Queens. There are no Korean presence in Bronx but territory was given to Koreans in Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars due to the fact that the large Flushing, Queens Korean territory is not displayed on the Liberty City map.

The Midtown Gangsters is a Korean street gang which appears in Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars. It is unknown whether the gang has connections to the Korean Mob of Alderney. The gang is severely weakened during the events of Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars by the game's protagonist, Huang Lee, who kills several of the gang's bosses.
