The Plumbers Skyway is the only major freeway in Alderney in Grand Theft Auto IV. It is elevated at a great height from its Boyden Ave entrance to its western Acter portion. It nearly circles and encompasses southern Alderney. It begins immediately after the Hickey Bridge and circles Alderney, ending at the intersection of Asahara Rd and Boyden Avenue. Other than an intersection at Rand Avenue just after the Hickey Bridge, the Skyway has 5 exits and is the longest highway in the game. It is based on New Jersey's Pulaski Skyway. Unlike the Pulaski Skyway, it serves more for amusement rather than functionality (as large ships cannot get past some smaller bridges blocking the waterway in Tudor).

Exits and entrances

No Exits or Entrances are numbered in the game, so they will be listed in order from where it begins after the Hickey Bridge, to where it ends at the intersection of Ashara Road and Boyden Avenue.

Rand Avenue Intersection

Immediately following the Hickey Bridge from Algonquin is an intersection with a stoplight, here begins the Plumbers Skyway after this intersection with Rand Avenue. You immediately see divide the Inner and Outer loops after the intersection, and the Plumbers Skyway begins beginning to slightly elevate as it makes room for Panhandle Road which runs below.

1. Leftwood, Westdyke, and Alderney City

This exit is only accessible from traveling on the Outer Loop, as the exit runs into an intersection with Manzano Road in Leftwood (where you can turn onto an entrance ramp to the Outer Loop if trying to access the Skyway). By Making a right at the Intersection you can immediately reach the Leftwood Hospital, Leftwood, and Westdyke. To the Left you immediately run under the elevated Plumbers Skyway which you just left, and intersect Panhandle Road right under, where by making a right you run into Lockowski Avenue and western Alderney City, and making a left keeps you in Leftwood, on Panhandle Road, underneath Plumbers Skyway, and down the road is the northern Alderney Pay n' Spray.

2. Berchem and Acter

This exit only accessible from traveling on the Inner Loop, and the entrance leading on to the Outer Loop. The exit runs into an intersection with Aspdin Drive in Berchem, where by making a right you can reach the Tw@ Internet Cafè and Acter.

3. Western Tudor

This exit is accessible from both the Inner and Outer Loops, and offers entrances onto both sides the highway from here. This exit takes you to a road surrounded by High-rise Condominiums and Apartments. By turning east, (right from Outer Loop, left from Inner Loop exit), you can reach the intersections onto Tinderbox Avenue, and Emery Street, which by turning left on both takes you into central Tudor. You can reach Honkers, the only Strip Club in Alderney by making that left onto Tinderbox Avenue, and traveling past 4 streets. Immediately south of the exit is when Plumbers Skyway begins to actually become a "Skyway" and elevate to an extreme altitude from the ground for any road. A tricky entrance to the outer lanes of the Skyway, which will immediately take you south to Acter Industrial Park. At the light after both exits from the highway directly to the east of exit ramp from the Innerloop is a hidden entrance onto the Innerloop, that takes you directly to Berchem and northern Acter, and then northern Alderney.

4. Acter Industrial Park

This exit accessible from the Outer Loop, and an entrance to the Inner Loop. The exit must be reached by moving onto the Left Lane of the Outer Loop, instead of the typical right, as from the center of the highway the exit dives down onto the ground. You then intersect Praetorian Avenue in the Acter Industrial Park. By making a left you continue towards northern Acter Industrial Park, which if you continue until it ends, you will reach the Alderney State Correctional Facility. By making a right, you immediately run into Musketeer Avenue, where by making a left you run into the Alderney State Correctional Facility.

5. Eastern Tudor & Port Tudor

This exit only accessible from the Inner Loop, and features an entrance onto the Outer Loop, in the same style as the Acter Industrial Park Exit/Entrance. You run into an intersection with Barsac Avenue at the eastern edge of Tudor. Where by making a right you run into Mandrel Rd, where a right then takes you to central Tudor. Making a left you run into Latchkey, where by making a right, and then an immediate left you are in Port Tudor, and the main shipyard and harbor in Alderney. By continuing on that right you run into Acter Industrial Park.

6. Alderney City

This is the end of the Plumbers Skyway where the elevated highway descends back to ground on the Outer Loop, or starting from the ground and elevating as an entrance to the entire Inner Loop. The Plumbers Skyway ends when it forms an intersection with a stoplight at Asahara Road, where by making a right you can reach the Booth Tunnel to Liberty City. Making a left takes you into western Alderney City where you seen meet the beginning of Babbage Drive which serves as the main boulevard for Berchem, Acter, and central Alderney. Your other option is to continue straight where the Plumbers Skyway becomes Boyden Avenue, where you can drive through central Alderney City and reach Mr. Fuk's Rice Box.
