The unnamed hospital in City Hall, Algonquin, Liberty City is a hospital featured in Grand Theft Auto IV (including Episodes from Liberty City) and Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars.

Description

Located on a sloped lot bordered by Liberty Lane, Emerald Street and Union Drive West, the City Hall hospital is based within a massive skyscraper that forms part of the district's skyline around City Hall's delta-shaped park. Despite being a hospital, the location does not appear to be a respawn point for the player if they die nearest to the hospital in southern Algonquin (after unlocking Algonquin); instead, the player usually respawns further north at the Lancet-Hospital Center in Lancet. The hospital has an interior in the same manner as the Schottler Medical Center and the Westdyke Memorial Hospital.

The eastern and southern sides of the building give no indication as to the nature of the building, while the northwestern side of the building houses a parking lot containing Ambulances and back entrances into the hospital. Because of this design, the hospital could sometimes be confused as a regular skyscraper when only viewed on the eastern or northern side.

Trivia

  • The City Hall Hospital is a Perfect place to start a massacre and gain the "One Man Army" Achievement. To do this, the player has to gain a six star wanted level, either by killing the people outside and inside the hospital and destroying vehicles, or by typing in the "Gain One Star Wanted Level" cheat six times. Once the player has obtained the six star wanted level, go inside the hospital and hide in one of the rooms. If any police officers enter the hospital, just kill them. Keeping this up for five real-world minutes will give the player the achievement. If the player does run low on health, they can pick up the Health pack provided or they can drink soda from the Sprunk Vending Machine, therefore staying alive.
