Recovery

The Recovery is a Tow Truck featured in Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars.

Description

Whilst it cannot tow cars, the Recovery is a heavy vehicle which makes it good at disabling Police vehicles. Apart from that, its slow speed and sloppy handling make it undesirable. The Recovery's only paint scheme is red and it cannot be resprayed at a Pay 'n' Spray. The Recovery seems to be of the same design as the Flatbed, just with Tow Rails on the back.

Performance

As previously mentioned, the Recovery is large and can knock other cars out of the way with ease. It's size means that it can sustain a good amount of damage before exploding. It has moderate acceleration. Its handling could be better. It's slow speed makes it easy for the police to bust the player. In general the recovery is an undesireable vehicle that is pretty rare and, with only one location in the entire city, it is also hard to find and is not driven on the streets (exept during one mission for Wade Heston).

• Near the border of Francis International Airport and Beechwood City in the block just south of the nearby Pay 'n' Spray in Willis this is the same block as where the Liberty City Gun Club is located.
