Weapons in GTA V

This is a list of weapons that appear in Grand Theft Auto V, which can be seen in the official GTA V trailer. Weapons currently listed may not appear in the final version of the game, with the exception of the protagonists fists.

Weapons in GTA V

	Fists	Melee	Fists refer to the unarmed melee combat that is always available to the player in every Grand Theft Auto game. It is known that melee combat has been greatly improved in GTA V.
File:Golfclub-GTAV-prerelease.png	Golf Club	Golf club	A golf club is first seen at the 0:17 second mark in the first GTA V trailer. It is possible it will come back as a weapon since Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, which is also in Los Santos, have had golf clubs as weapons before.
File:Pistol-GTAV-LSPDofficer.jpg	Pistol	Glock	A pistol has always been a weapon throughout the GTA series. The pistol is first seen at 1:07 in an officers holster. It closely resembles a Glock. If this is true, then the Glock model could be either a 17, 19, 21, 21SF, 22, 23, 34, or 35 as in the real life LAPD use one of these models.
File:Trevor-GTAV-gun-prerelease.jpg	Pistol		An unidentifiable pistol is seen in a gameplay screenshot in the hands of Trevor. From what can be seen of it, the shape hints toward several pistols including a USP MK23, an FN FNP 45, or a Desert Eagle; the latter being the most likely.
File:Trevor-GTAV-Jetski.png	Micro-SMG	Ruger MP-9	A gameplay screenshot shows Trevor wielding a Ruger MP-9 machine pistol while driving a lifeguard jetski. While it can easily be mistaken for a Micro-Uzi, it can be made out by the slanted magazine and downward-pointing stock. It is unknown what its pseudonym will be in-game; more than likely either SMG or Micro-SMG similar to previous titles.
File:AK-47-GTAV-prerelease.png	AK-47	Norinco Type 56-2	What appears to be a Norinco Type 56-2 appears in the trailer at 0:48, it has several accessories on it, including a flashlight, a hand guard-mounted scope and most notably what seems to be a suppressor which could indicate that more weapon customization will be introduced in GTA V.
	M16	M4A1 / AR-15	Artwork of Michael and the front cover of GameInformer's GTA V article depict him and Trevor respectively holding an M4A1 assault rifle modified with a scope and suppressor. While it is simply artwork and may not appear in the actual game, AR-15 rifles have appeared in almost every GTA game to date, making it likely that it will return in GTA V.
	Assault Rifle	Tavor TAR-21	A TAR-21 assault rifle can be seen in the hands of Michael in a gameplay screenshot depicting him sidegunning from a helicopter. It appears to have an olive-drab finish.
	Pump Action Shotgun	Mossberg 500	A Mossberg 500 pump action shotgun is wielded by Franklin in a gameplay screenshot. It has been modified with a shortened barrel and retractable stock.
