Panlantic Construction Company
The Panlantic Construction Company is a building construction/real estate pocessor company situated in Liberty City. It has been featured in Grand Theft Auto III and Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories.
Overlook
The companies main lines of work are building construction and real estate ownership. Despite the fact that the company is situated in Liberty, they have real estate possesion throughout america, since real estate mogul Avery Carrington, who was a head member of the Panlantic Company, operated in a major scale in Vice City and at a smaller scale in San Fierro. The company, despite it claiming to be a legitimate construction company, has it's own illegal bits, since in both it's appearences, it's shown that it has ties with the Colombian Cartel.
Ties With The Cartel
It's evident that the Panlantic is a part of the Cartel, since in both it's appearences, they have a major tie with them.
Liberty City Stories
In GTA: LCS, the Cartel its shown to have but a small tie with Panlantic. it's first evidenced when Cartel men in Cartel Cruisers are hired to escort Avery Carrington to their central when he arrives in Liberty. And the next thing is , that once Panlantic is constructing a building over the remains of the Forelli Family base in Fort Staunton, several Cartel men are guarding the entrance.
GTA III
In this game, the Cartel have bigger ties with the Panlantic corporation. Once you are able to acces Francis International Airport, a hangar belonging to Panlantic is guarded by Cartel thugs. Then, Fort Staunton, a district with several Panlantic buildings is Cartel turf. Also, the former site of the Forelli Base where Panlantic started building in 1998 is stil in the process of being built and is a hideout for several Cartel highrankers like Miguel and Catalina and a holding site for Cartel prisoners.
Members
Known workers for the Panlantic Corporation:
- Avery Carrington (????-1998) - Outside contact for the Panlantic corporation, working in Vice City and San Fierro. He was killed by Donald Love and Toni Cipriani in 1998 when he was delivering land grab plans to the Panlantic central in Liberty City.
- Donald Love (1998-2001) - Operator for Panlantic in Liberty City. He joined the company in 1998 after killing Avery Carrington with the help of Toni Cirpriani and used the land grab plans Avery had to buy his way into Panlantic. In 2001, Love left Panlantic and formed a new real estate company which grew to power in less than a year and became an enemy to Panlantic, the company being Love Media.
- Barry Harcross (1997-present) - Barry Harcross was a higranker in the hierarchy of Panlantic Construction. In 1997, he quickly ranked to the top of Panlantic diue to his work in the crime side of Panlantic, conducting much business for the Colombian Cartel. However, the FBI busted Barry and had him sent to trial. In 2001 Barry was absolved of all charges and was returning to Liberty City after being in exile from North America and staying in Colombia for two years.
