L.C. Confidential is a mission in Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories given to protagonist Toni Cipriani by news reporter Ned Burner, posing as a reverend, from Bedford Point, Staunton Island, Liberty City.
Mission
Toni goes to the Cathedral in Bedford Point and is greeted by Ned Burner, who is posing as the local reverend. He tells Toni that to redeem himself, he must stop the publication of faked reports of doping in Americas top sports stars. In order to meet the informant, Toni needs to steal an FBI Cruiser and drives to a crime scene in Newport to steal one. Driving to where the informant is to meet John-O (an FBI agent). The informanet, distrustful of Toni, leaves but Toni chases him, killing him and stealing the documents. Toni takes the documents to a garage behind the Liberty Tree headquarters. Soon afterwards, a radio report about doping from Americas top sports stars airs on the radio

Toni Cipriani: Forgive me, Father, for I have sinned.
Father Ned: Shit, the Devil's hit pay dirt with you, Antonio. Now either you can go off and say Hail Marys, or you can do the Lord's dirty work. As the second option's more my bag... Some poor sinner confessed to fabricating a report on doping our country's finest athletes. If you were to stop him giving this to the FBI, innocent careers would be saved.
Toni Cipriani: Consider it done, Father.
(Toni steals an FBI car and drives to the where the informant is to meet the FBI, with the informant entering the car)
Informant: You're early. Hey, I don't know you, where's John-O?
Toni Cipriani: John-O? He couldn't make it.
Informant: Gimme that!
Informant: Screw this!
Reward
The reward for completing the mission is $1,500 and the The Passion of the Heist mission.
