Dessie is the African American bodyguard of Maisonette 9 and features in Grand Theft Auto IV: The Ballad of Gay Tony as the doorman who is quite friendly with Luis Lopez. He makes sure only people on the guest list enter the club and also keeps out those who cause trouble. He along with Joni and Luis are the only security officials in the club but keep a tight operation.
