Gun Runner is the a mission in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City given to protagonist Tommy Vercetti from arms dealer Phil Cassidy from his depot in Little Haiti, Vice City.
Mission
After the successful bank heist, Phil phones Tommy saying he can receive some extra weaponry. He goes over to his depot to find Phil tampering with boomshine which shortly after he arrives detonates destroying a pickup truck. Afterwards he tells Tommy about a Mexican arms dealer named Pedro Garcia who does his weekly run at that time. He then tells him he needs to ram the weapons of the back of the trucks to attain them. Then after destroy the trucks. He then locates the four trucks and collects the weapons (a python, SPAS 12, M-60, and a MAC-10) and then destroys the trucks while be pursued by other gun runners.
The Mission
When the mission starts, quickly get in to the nearby Patriot parked in Phil's Place, then drive towards the targets. This mission introduces you to the Detonator Grenades, which is spawned near the entrance. There are four trucks to destroy: two in Little Haiti and two in Downtown.
There are many ways to get them. You could try out the Detonator Grenades or use any other weapons, like the Sniper Rifle. The weapons you have to collect are inside the box that has to be destroyed at the back of the truck. You have to pick up these weapons even if it meant replacing your current ones.
When you collected two guns, the Mexicans will send back-up using Faggio scooters driven by the enemy with Uzi submachine guns. The other two trucks will drive more aggressively. Killing these enemies will earn you a $100 bonus. They will endlessly come so you can't hang around.
The mission is complete after you have collected all the guns and destroyed the trucks.

Phil: Hoooooweeeeee! Never get a naked flame too close to one of Phil Cassidy's Boomshine stills!
Tommy: Shit Phil, you drink that stuff?
Phil: Hell, you don't have to drink it - just a good whiff will set you off. Hoowwee!
Tommy: Listen Phil, you said you could fix me up with some firepower...
Phil: Sure thing. There's some Mexican gun-runner been doing me for business of late. He does his weekly run about now. Ram his hardware off the back of his trucks before he goes to ground. And you'd be doing me a favor while you're at it. Then finish him off.
Trivia
- The Waltons in this mission are the only Waltons in the game that are white.
