BOABO is a neighborhood in northwest Broker; its name is an acronym for "Beneath the Offramp of the Algonquin Bridge Overpass." This name is based off of the New York City neighborhood DUMBO (Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass). BOABO is a reasonably large neighbourhood with major docking and industrial uses. The area is run down and made up mostly of storage warehouses. Much of the neighbourhood is secluded with East Hook away from the rest of Broker. A large, high wall separates most of BOABO and East Hook from the higher altitude nearby residential areas. The district is also in the shadow of the Algonquin Bridge which spans over the district, hence the name. These factors often induce an encroached and secluded feel to both BOABO and East Hook. BOABO is bordered by five other districts. The East Island City neighbourhood in Dukes is to the north, Rotterdam Hill and Downtown are to the South East, Cerveza Heights is to the East, East Hook is to the south and the Humboldt River lies on the western border of the neighbourhood.

Transport

Residents of the BOABO neighbourhood use Huntington Street as their nearest LTA stop. The 3/8 Broker Line runs through the stop.
