Hostile Takeover is a mission in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories and the second mission from the Mendez strand.
Mission
Victor Vance pays the Mendez's a visit and Armando bewares him of some Bikers at Vice Point have not paid their debts back to the Mendez Cartel and that he wants to get rid of them. Vic goes to the empire site and kills all the attacking Bikers. But after a while some other Bikers escape on their Angels. Vic chases and kills all the Bikers completing the mission.

Armando Mendez: So, now we're together. And yet, business is hard. This industry is full of criminals.
Victor Vance: Oh, yeah?
Armando Mendez: Money can be so corrupting. I find it very distasteful.
Victor Vance: Heh. Well, you know, that's the deal with the drugs trade. It attracts the wrong sort.
Armando Mendez: Quite. Are you trustworthy, friend?
Victor Vance: I don't know. After what I've been through recently, I'd say probably not.
Armando Mendez: Great! Honesty is a very attractive quality. I'm promoting you, Vic.
Victor Vance: Thanks. What do you need me to do?
Armando Mendez: Head to Vice Point. The people there have been ripping me off for years. Remove them and set up shop. We need a place we can distribute product from.
Victor Vance: Look, I ain't interested in that side of the business.
Armando Mendez: Unfortunately, you don't have a choice. Now, Vic, please, go.
Reward
The reward for completing the mission is $1,000 and the missions Unfriendly Competition and Turn On, Tune In, Bug Out are unlocked. The empire site in Vice Point, which previously belonged to the Bikers, is automatically transferred to the Vance Crime Family.
