Saints Row 2 has all that shit, sure, but WOW, the driving system is f*cking lame, The story isn't that good, and the gameplay, physics, graphics suck major ass. Saints Row 2 is nothing but a pathetic GTA IV wanabe, the handling system is f*cked up, sureit has alot of weapons, but their damage is in acurate, the player is bullet sponge and there is no cover/blindfire system, landing on helipads is nearly impossible and the Combine Harvester can bearly steer
OK, let's be constructive here and be honest. It seems I am the only person here who likes both games. Anyways, here are the pros and cons.
GTA IV:
Pros:
- Bigger City, since Stilwater (SR2) is based off Detroit and Liberty City (GTA IV) is based off New York City and New Jersey.
- Better Physics
- Friend System w/Special Abilities (Roman's Car Service, etc)
- Cars are designed realistically
- Episodes from LC
- Niko is bad@$$
- Loads of gangs (Russians, Pegorionos, Spanish Lords, etc)
- The game capturing the picture of New York City is a pro enough
- Internet
- Pedestrians are more detailed
Cons:
- No Gang Warfare (introduced in TLATD)
- Friend system and Girlfriends are sometimes annoying.
- Buildings can't be destroyed
- Game gets boring after missions are completed.
- Can't buy houses
Saint's Row 2:
Pros:
- Create Character
- More clothes
- Buy Property
- Gang Warfare
- Planes
- More guns
- More cars
- Buildings can be destroyed
- More activities
- Replay missions
Cons:
- Bad Physics (Pedestrians instantly are killed with a few shots instead of GTA IV in which pedestrians are injured with a few shots)
- Car system is sh*t
- Only 3 gangs
- Less details on pedestrians.
- Crap storyline
