Deaths
- The dismembered body of Vinewood starlet Leonora Johnson was found beside the dam in 1975.
- Dom Beasley jumped from the top of the dam, forgetting his parachute, and died on impact at the bottom in 2013 during the Strangers and Freaks mission Uncalculated Risk.
