The Tank is a vehicle in Grand Theft Auto and Grand Theft Auto 2. In GTA 1, it is a hidden vehicle which can be found in all three cities (Liberty City, San Andreas and Vice City). In GTA 2, however, it is used by the law enforcement when the player has a six star wanted level. The Tank is regarded as a special vehicle in GTA due to its extraordinary strength and ability to blow up vehicles by driving over them or using the turret to shoot at them. The Tank is an extremely deadly enemy because of its powerful cannon and can only be damaged with explosives. They're used to block roads, but will shoot at the player while doing this. Like other vehicles in GTA 2, it can't be stolen when used in a blockade. Although it posses great firepower and is very durable, it's not good to use against tank blockades because it's a very easy target for other tanks, whose cannons will make short work of it.
