Vending Machines in GTA IV

Vending Machines are one of the many ways that the player can restore their health. They are found in Grand Theft Auto San Andreas and Grand Theft Auto IV. They come in two forms: Snack vending machines and Drink Vending Machines. Getting a drink or a snack from a vending machine costs $1.

Snack Vending Machine

Grand Theft Auto San Andreas

The player can use snack vending machines to restore health. CJ will pick up a bag of chips and start eating. If the player approaches a vending machine a message will appear at the top of the screen saying "Buy a snack, $1". If the player chooses to buy a snack their health will be returned to full.

A Few Locations (there are many others)

Grand Theft Auto IV

Although the snack vending machines DO appear in Grand Theft Auto IV they for some reason can't be used and are simply there for looks.

Drink Vending Machines

Grand Theft Auto San Andreas

Much like the above snack vending machine. The player can walk up to a Sprunk vending machine to restore their health. CJ will pick up the can and drink it before throwing it on the ground. Sprunk costs $1.

Grand Theft Auto IV

Much like in san andreas the player restors their health by feeding this machine $1. It features a Sprunk Vending machine as well as a new Cola vending machine. Niko will pick up the can, drink it then throw it on the ground.
