Admiral

The Admiral' is the old Mercedes-Benz W123 analogue seen in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories and Grand Theft Auto IV. In GTA San Andreas, it appears to have a little 90's "makeup". Surprisingly, it is front-wheel drive, which is the biggest difference from the original W123. The Admiral is the first car available in Vice City. The Dundreary Admiral is a 4-door Luxury Sedan, easily found in Bohan or Dukes, which appears in Grand Theft Auto IV. It serves as the base chassis for the Stretch in GTA IV.

Renditions

  • In GTA Vice City, GTA San Andreas and GTA Vice City Stories, the car resembles a 1980s Mercedes-Benz W123.
  • In GTA IV, the front resembles a Mercury Grand Marquis with some influence from a '80s' Mercedes, the chassis could either be a Mercury Grand Marquis or a Lincoln Town Car (but with a more even roof), the taillights could be from an '80s Mercedes or even a 1982–1986 Toyota Camry that has been modernized. The Stretch is now the Limo version.

The Indestructible Admiral

  • In the game GTA Vice City ,in a colonel cortez' mission named Guardian Angel ,Ricardo Diaz arrives on the deal location with his personal car and three bodyguards .Use your assault gun against this heady group, take the car and drive it to a garage to keep it .But if you do this the mission fails .

It can be very useful in a few missions like "Death Row" or other challenging pursuits . Although that admiral is undestrcutible ,there's a few weaknesses : First ,the front window is breakable . Then the tyres can blow and the car explode when she's got roof on the floor ,like all other cars . Take care of that car because the game often tries to make ot disappear when you have the back turned !
