Vendors are businesses of selling prepared food, usually seen on mobile carts. They have appeared in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and Grand Theft Auto IV.

GTA San Andreas

Vendors are located throughout the state. Vendors sell different kinds of food in their carts, most notably hotdogs. Also, vendors with vans are commonly found near landmarks, special events (i.e. stadiums), or in the countryside/desert regions.

GTA IV

Vendors are located throughout the city. Vendors sell hamburgers, hot dogs, and nuts which can be purchased to replenish Niko Bellic's health. There are also newspaper stands which sell soda. Each food item purchased from a street vendor is $5, while beverages purchased at news stands are $1. Hamburger stands have a small gas tank on the side of the cart that if shot, will explode. Some vendors will be jolly old and slightly beefy people who are kind and thank you for your buisness, they are usually found around Broker, Dukes and Bohan. Other vendors are skinny people of oriental heratige. They are usually rude and mean and always demand money. They are usually found in more populated areas such as Algonquin. Note that the vendor difference has no effect on the sale of the product.

Locations

Hot dog and newspaper vendors are most prominent in Star Junction, being on nearly every corner. Nut vendors can be found most frequently in Middle Park, while hamburger vendors are few and far between. A street vendor will make their presence known by shouting various sales pitches.
