Nines and AKs is a mission that introduces Emmet and his gun store, and clothes.
Mission
Carl, Ryder, Big Smoke and Sweet are having a talk inside Sweet's house. After a while Smoke decides to take Carl to see Emmet member of Seville Boulevard Families subset of Grove Street Families. Upon arriving, Emmet doesn't recognize them at first but after a brief talk they introduce each other and Big Smoke shows his shooting skills by shooting at bottles as Carl repeats everything Smoke does. After shooting at the gas tank of a car, Emmet hails Carl's shooting skills and tells him to drop by whenever he needs a gun. Carl and Big Smoke drive back to Smoke's house afterward. Carl after a moment receives a call from Sweet and is told to check out the Binco clothing store nearby and change to a pair of green colored clothes to represent Grove Street.
Reward
Finishing this mission rewards the player with additional respect and a pistol always spawns at Emmet's for use. The mission Drive-By and is unlocked and the player can use the Binco, ProLaps and Sub Urban clothing stores.
