The Maibatsu Corporation is a fictional Japanese automaker in the GTA series. The name "Maibatsu" is derived from Daihatsu and Mitsubishi. In the Vice City Inquirer (GTA Vice City Stories), the Buy American Coalition asks to "take a mallet to a Maibatsu today". The corporation is based on Mitsubishi in GTA IV.
