Stop the Press is a mission in Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories given to protagonist Toni Cipriani by Donald Love from a flophouse in Pike Creek, Shoreside Vale, Liberty City.
Mission
Donald tells Toni that a reporter saw them killing Avery and has photos. Toni decides to get them and drives to the church in Bedford Point on Staunton Island. There Toni finds Ned, who had posed as the reverend and employed Toni. Toni ends up hitting Burner three times before he agrees to give Toni the photos, with Toni driving Ned to his lock-up at the Liberty Tree building, which is also in Bedford Point. Ned hands Toni a camera, which flash and briefly blinds him, allowing Ned to escape. Toni chases and then kills Ned.
Script
Donald Love: Toni! At last! A reporter witnessed us killing Avery! He has photos! Oh, God! I'm finished!
Toni Cipriani: Calm down will you! Where is this reporter?
Donald Love: Oh, Toni, you're wonderful! Apparently he's been working on an undercover job at the church on Staunton Island. Get the photos and bury him!
(Toni drives to the church in Staunton Island)
Toni Cipriani: You got some photos of me. Where are they?
Ned Burner: I don't know what you're talking about!
(Toni hits Ned)
Toni Cipriani: Where are the God-damn photos?
Ned Burner: Don't hurt me!
(Toni hits Ned a second time)
Toni Cipriani: Where are they?
Ned Burner: Please, no!
(Toni hits Ned a third time)
Toni Cipriani: Come on you little pussy! Give 'em up!
Ned Burner: Okay! Okay! I'll get you the photos! ...I stashed the film in my lock-up!
(Toni drives Ned to his lock-up behind the Liberty Tree building)
Ned Burner: Here they are. Take them. I didn't get them processed yet.
(The camera flashes and briefly blinds Toni, which allows Ned to escape)
Toni Cipriani: You piece of shit!
Reward
The reward for completing the mission is $2,000 and the mission Morgue Party Resurrection is unlocked.
