Nines and AKs is a mission that introduces Emmet and his gun store, and Clothing Stores.

Detailed Walkthrough
At Sweet's house, Big Smoke suggests a visit to Emmet to get some guns for the fight for their streets.
Emmet
Get in the car and drive Big Smoke to the map marker at Emmet's house in Willowfield. You'll find Emmet in his back yard, playing with some guns. CJ and his friends startle Emmet and he pulls a gun on them. He then recognizes CJ, but mistakes him for Brian. Once that is straightened out, Emmet offers you a 9mm which begins a training course.
Follow the tips that pop up, telling you how to use target lock, cycle target, aiming manually, and shooting while crouched. Once the training is completed, take Smoke home. Along the way, Smoke starts talking about strange things, like choices that aren't really choices, which seems to raise CJ's suspicions. pull into the map marker at Big Smoke's house to drop him off. This is an easy mission, so you'll be able to complete the mission in no time. Just avoid the Ballas while you are taking Big Smoke back to his home.
Colors
At this point, Sweet will call and let you know that it doesn't help your goals to not wear the Families' colors. Get back into the car and head toward the map marker at Binco, a clothing store. Remember that the Grove Street Families' colors is green, so any green clothes get more respect than the same item in a different color. Leave Binco to complete the mission and make available Drive-By and the Big Smoke Path.
