The Trip Skip is a feature in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars and Grand theft auto: Vice City Stories that allows the player to skip the ride to a certain destination if they are on their second attempt. It is only available during certain missions. When a trip skip is executed, the words Later that day... will appear at the bottom of the screen and the player will be transported to their destination at a later time.

The trip skip icon in GTA San Andreas has image of Deluxo's side profile, which doesnt appear in San Andreas, but appears on GTA Vice City and Vice City Stories
The use of a Deluxo, a car partially based on the DeLorean DMC-12 may be a reference to the Back to the Future film series which features a DeLorean-based time machine.
