The Maibatsu Corporation is a fictional Japanese automaker in the GTA series, known for manufacturing the Monstrosity SUV. Although the name "Maibatsu" is derived from Daihatsu, it is also based on Mitsubishi in GTA IV and possibly based on Eagle. The Maibatsu Corporation has had a torrid time in some Grand Theft Auto games. Many people wanted their vehicles banned from the roads. This campaign was supported by American Motors.
