Teaser

The Teaser is a new weapon featuring in Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars. It is used to stun people and works just like a gun, although strangly it takes up the melee weapon slot. It was originally going to be featured in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City as the primary weapon of the Patrol Invest Group, but was taken out with no explanation.

It launches a small wire which attaches onto the victim and continually injects electricity into them. The Teaser has a power meter, it starts at 100 and as the player uses the Teaser the meter will go down, the meter recharges when not in use. If a victim is held on by the Teaser long enough then they will catch on fire and the player will gain an instant 1 Star Wanted Level. The Teaser costs $300 from Ammu-Nation.
