The Explosive Shotgun or Automatic Shotgun is a new shotgun introduced in the Grand Theft Auto IV DLC The Ballad of Gay Tony. It fires exploding shells hence the name, as well as standard buckshots depending on how far you are in the story. It fires in not fully automatic, but rather semi-automatically like the Combat Shotgun in GTA IV. This shotgun is based off the AA-12.
Both Explosive, and Buckshot variants are available in Multiplayer. The Explosive Variant is given to you by Yusuf Amir in the mission High Dive.
