Montana Shane is a character in Grand Theft Auto 2 and is a member of the Rednecks gang led by Billy Bob Bean in the Residential Sector of Anywhere City. Montana is an explosive expert[1][2] and first meets Claude Speed when he fits some explosives into a Pickup[2] used to destroy Fat Boy Jim's trailer.[3] Montana later fits a bomb to a Benson, which was then given to the chief of police, causing his death.[1] Claude later steals a tank for Montana's birthday.[4] Claude later steals Montana's Pickup to attack the Scientists, whilst working for The Zaibatsu Corporation.[5]
