Lucia Caminos is a character who appears as one of the two protagonists of Grand Theft Auto VI, alongside Jason Duval. She's the series' first female protagonist since the original Grand Theft Auto in 1997, which let players choose between four female and four male playable characters - and she's also the first to have voiced dialogue.
Character History
Lucia grew up in Vice City, where her father taught her to fight from an early age. Fighting to protect her family landed her in Leonida Penitentiary; she got out, by her own account, through sheer luck. More than anything, she wants the comfortable life her mother had dreamed of since the family's days in Liberty City - but rather than waiting for it, she's decided to take matters into her own hands.
After her release, Lucia is picked up by Jason, and the two begin a relationship and a criminal partnership that forms the core of GTA VI's story.
Trivia
Lucia usually wears a gold chain with a boxing-glove pendant - a possible gift from her father or Jason - except while in prison.
After her release, she's shown wearing an electronic ankle monitor, seemingly as a condition of parole; by a later point in the second trailer, she's no longer wearing it.
She appears to be carrying out community service for the Leonida Department of Correction.
