A Meat Cleaver is a machete-like tool used by butchers to cut slabs of meat into smaller pieces. It the Grand Theft Auto series, it is used as a melee weapon. It appears in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and in Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories. Although it is a powerful weapon, it is, in fact, heavy. In GTA Vice City, the player cannot sprint after running pedestrians, as this can be a difficult weapon to master when it comes to running after a pedestrian, though this is not the case in GTA Liberty City Stories, as the player can still sprint even if the player is wielding heavy weaponry.
