The Hammer is a melee weapon that has been featured in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and Grand Theft Auto V. The hammer has a short range but deals a good amount of damage, causing the person being attacked to collapse. The hammer can be purchased from any store that sells melee weapons for $20 and stolen from Builders after they are killed. The Hammer is only available in the Collector's and Special Editions of Grand Theft Auto V.

- Can be stolen from Builders weilding the hammer once they are killed.
- Can be obtained in the mission Jury Fury; two fall out of the back of Spand Express and one gets dropped by a pedestrian at the start of the mission.
- Can be obtained in the mission The Fastest Boat; It is being held by one of the dock workers inside the hangar where the boat switch is located
