- For the gang in GTA Vice City, and GTA Vice City Stories, see Sharks. For the credit card company, see Shark (company).
The Shark is a four-door car featured Grand Theft Auto 2.
The Shark is fashioned as a four-door sedan with an apparently 1930/1940s body design, distinguishable by its slender frontal radiator grille that stretches over to the boot lid of the car. With
GRAHAM as its internal name, the car's name is implied to be inspired by Graham-Paige's 1938-1940 "Sharknose" car, which sported a shark-like front facade design. The actual design of the Shark, however, differs significantly in various respects.
Despite its unassuming appearance, the performance of the car is surprisingly excellent, with a significantly high top speed and good acceleration (with a moderate gearshift delay). The car's steering and braking are also good. When crushed, the car grants the player Molotov Cocktails in the Downtown District, or Rocket Launchers in the Industrial District.
- A working name for the Stinger in Grand Theft Auto III is "Shark". The use of the name is evidenced in the "official" website for Capital Autos .
- According to the mission Yutes Must Die!, the Shark is the gang car of the Yutes, a small time gang in GTA 2.
- The Shark and the the Pickup are the only gang cars in GTA 2 to have a civilian version as well.
